Q: What do vabena®insoles (NPI) actually do?

A: vabena® insoles are custom made with proceptors (raised areas in the sole) that aim to stimulate specific areas under your feet. By stimulating these areas, proceptors can inhibit or promote muscle tone through out your body. The change in muscle tone creates an effect that promotes improvement of painful areas in the muscle, improvement in muscle strength due to better skeletal alignment, and improvement in posture due to balancing of body segments.

Q: Are vabena®insoles the same as orthotics?

A: vabena® insoles and orthotics are similar in that they are both custom made to the individual’s feet. The difference is that custom orthotics are passive appliances that limit or assist movement in the feet and lower limb whereas vabena® insoles are active treatment devices since they stimulate your neurological system. Therefore, the longer you stay on your feet, the greater stimulation you receive. Traditional orthotics also tend to be much thicker and heavier, while vabena® insoles insoles measure only 2-5 mm in thickness.

Q: Where do I get my vabena®insoles?

A: vabena® insoles are only available through vabena® network partners. vabena® network partners are medical health professionals who satisfactorily complete the vabena® training and certification requirement of becoming a Certified vabena® Clinician. When you visit a Certified vabena® Clinician, you are assured of high quality product and service. To locate the nearest vabena® provider in your area, search our Network Providers or call 1-866-4vabena .

Q: Can vabena® insoles be transferred from shoe to shoe?

A: vabena® insoles are thin (2-5 mm) and light weight and may be transferred from one shoe to another as long as they are similar in style. It is important that the shoe has a flat base where the insole rests. Your vabena® provider will instruct you to bring your shoes during your follow up visit to advise you of shoes that are appropriate for vabena® insoles.

Q: I heard that the benefits of vabena®can be experienced before I commit to purchasing a pair, is this true?

A: The hallmark of vabena® is when the Body Balance Check is performed on the appropriate candidate, the effects are felt immediately. Most patients who have had the Body Balance Check done report experiencing significant pain relief, improved movement, and increased strength during their visit. This response has left a lot of clients satisfied and raving about their vabena® experience. This high degree of patient satisfaction has been the trademark of the vabena® brand all around the world.

Q. How long should I expect my vabena®insoles to last? When should I get a new pair?

A: Provided there is no change in your medical condition, the efficacy of vabena® insoles should last at least 12 months. This takes into account the daily wear and tear on the material. After 12 months, your vabena® provider will contact you to schedule a yearly Body Balance Check to confirm that the insoles are still appropriate for you.
